Meet Charise Casiano Medeiros

Charise obtained her BA degree at California State University, Stanislaus and immediately pursued her MS degree at Mount Saint Mary’s College. During her college years, Charise left for one year to do missionary work. She traveled the United States troubleshooting with teenagers. It was from that particular experience that Charise found a love for counseling and began new endeavors working with adolescents. Her career has included working with juvenile delinquents, foster families, special needs children and homeless shelters, in addition to having been a youth minister and a junior high teacher. Charise is a firm believer that one’s development into a person of character, dignity, values, and love begin at home. Thus, Charise looks at the importance of how our families and our environment contribute to our being and what we, in turn reciprocate in our own individual lives as well as our relationships. The focus of therapy is proactive with education and choices – learning to make constructive choices despite where we came from. Charise will provide you direction in your path of life when you are afraid and she will influence hope and courage to make the necessary changes.
